Set Up a Free Shipping Method

There are two ways to offer free shipping in your store. 

Option 1

• Tick Fee shipping on the product page 

• For this option to work, you need to decide which one of your shipping methods will be used for free shipping. 
• Edit the shipping method, on the Additional tab, tick Use for free shipping. 
• This will exclude products with the enabled Free shipping option from the shipping price calculation

• The buyer will be offered free shipping for the product at the checkout 

Option 2

• In the Administration panel, go to Administration → Shipping & Taxes → Shipping methods.
• Add a new shipping method, or choose one of the existing methods to configure it. Set the Rate calculation of this method to Manual (by defined rate area). This way you can specify the shipping cost on the different conditions.
• Go to the Shipping time and rates tab.
• Decide where your shipping method will be offered. To do this, choose rate areas from the dropdown list. If a certain rate area does not exist in your store, contact us and we will add it. This is only necessary if you need to add different conditions and availability/unavailability of delivery to this area.
• Leave the Rate field empty (equal to zero by default). You do not need to specify price/weight/item conditions either.
• If you want the shipping to certain rate areas to be paid, just specify the Rate or price/weight/items conditions for those areas.
• If you want to check the shipping cost, click the Recalculate rates button on the Test rate calculation tab.
• Click Save.
